Flyover is not a feasible solution with Metro line in construction.
The problem can really be solved by adding more roads to connect from Nizampet to NH. The traffic in the Nizampet road is very high and the road is narrow. There can be alternate roads connecting this road to JNTU e.g. Kolan Raghava reddy Function Hall to JNTU, Vertex Apartments to Hydernagar Gem Motors, Seven Hills to More supermarket etc. These will reduce the number of people using the junction, thereby reducing congestion.

The issue (or policy) of traffic police regulating traffic manually without signal lights (not just at Nzmpt, but throughout on the highway until Erragadda) is being debated. We are evaluating the logic behind the claims made by the cops whom we interviewed regarding this issue. This is on top of our list of things to be done.
