Road reopened near Godrej CII for Public Convenience

We SMR Vinay Acropolis Association finally succeeded in getting the road opening near Godrej CII in Hi-tech city being reopened for public convenience. This dual carriage road leads to Satyam Mahindra, Oracle, Dell and to other Hitech companies was closed by Traffic Police last year (2009) due to some accidents happened at that time. Due to this the traffic from Miyapur have no option than using the road opening opposite to Jayabheri Silicon Towers and then the immediate left via SMR Vinay Acropolis to get in to the above mentioned road. The 30 feet road in front of our society is not meant for this kind of traffic. Daily traffic congestion in front of our complex made our lives miserable. Specially between 09:00 and 10:30 in the morning we were not able to get our vehicles in/out of our gated community.

We have submitted a written request to the Traffic Police Cyberabad and talked to DCP, Mr.Chandrasekhar who first rejected our request but we didn't give up. We have submitted a follow up request to him giving him some possible options. Finally we have taken photographs of the traffic congestion as a proof to him. He was convinced with those evidences and finally agreed to reopen the road opening near CII.

This has now reduced nearly 50% of the traffic on our road!
