We have paid GHMC fee including development charges towards two residential constructions within the same street/lane of Shastripuram Colony at Katedan in Shivrampally (Pincode: 500077).  The first fee was paid in 2002 and second in 2008; these two fee when combined approximates to Rs. 2 lakhs.

In spite of paying these fees, till date we haven’t got a road or drainage line being laid down in our street/lane. Ironically, there are many streets here where proper cement roads are being laid without any justification why those lanes/streets hold a higher priority on GHMC project plan.

Our learning is that quite a number of roads are being laid in specific streets through political influence, favoritism & GHMC corrupt practices.

Till date, our street remains neglected and undeveloped in spite of us constructing a fairly big house with proper GHMC permission & payment of due development charges.
