New roads have been built in our neighborhood recently and that is good. But, from what we have been experiencing the drain situation has not been taken into consideration while constructing these roads and drain. At the time of heavy rainfall the existing drain cannot handle the rain water and the water is overflowing on the roads and ultimately flooding our homes. At times it takes more than couple of hours for water on the road to recede. The engineers have made mistakes in designing the roads and drain causing the people money spent in a way that we have to re-address the issue. 

Also, there is a great danger to people on the road when there is rainfall as they cannot really see where the drain or road is. There are a lot of kids who use this road to go to school and it would be very unfortunate if we end up in a situation where this bad design causes a casualty.

We request that this hazardous situation be addressed as soon as possible and avoid and causalities of our little children.
